The officer in charge of overseeing the heraldic needs of the Shire. These including helping people develop and register names and heraldic devices, and with making announcements at events and courts.
The Herald is the officer in charge of developing and registering SCA names and
devices, and for making announcements at court and elsewhere. While not essential, it helps for
the Herald to have a loud and projecting voice.
