	What, pray tell, might a chronicler do? We chronicle, about which Mr. Webster's staff said, "A narrative of events; a history; a record." In short, as Chronicler for the Shire of Loch Ruadh, I assemble, edit and sometimes conjure from thin air, The Scarlet Letter, a newsletter pertaining to the Shire. The Scarlet Letter serves to unite the Shire by bringing news of local events, happenings within our group and important happenings beyond our lands to the populous. The chronicle is the voice by which our Shire's officers communicate with the populous and it also serves as a showcase for the artisans and bards of our folds as well as honored guests. The success of the newsletter depends on input from the Populace.
